The SMF 01 & SMF 02 are standalone intelligent proximity locksets. Each unit is programmed via encoded cards which are software produced using an encoder. The unit is dormant until a card is presented where an infrared detector picks up the presence of a card which “wakes” the unit up and prepares it to accept a card.

These units use state of the art RF technology. The SMF 01 & SMF 02 can also be used in conjunction with the Wiegand 26-bit reader (SMF 26 WE) and the SMF 01& 02 RD. These locks are handed, please specify handing required when ordering.

The reader is hardwired to the controller via multi core screened cable integral to the reader.

SIL CARDS
The SMF card is an RF proximity card using highly effective and stable proximity technology. The aerial is embedded into the card. The SSL card is an insertion/contact version. The SIL card is also ready for badge or logo printing.

SOFT 01 & SOFT 02: Software
The SIL Software is a simple to use windows based software which allows ease of installation and use. NSP uses Windows 2000 or XP professional operating system for software use.
The software provides a connection to our encoder which allows the programming of cards. The software can also provide key reports on critical information.
Soft 01: Software for the hotel industry. Soft 02: Software for the commercial industry.

SMF/SSL ENC: Mifare Card Encoders
The SMF/SSL encoders are the means by which our software communicates with programming and user cards. They connect directly to the USB and communicate with the software.
The units are also self-powered from the USB port on your PC. Programming cards are placed on top of the SMF ENC and the software does the rest.
The SSL encoder is the version for the insertion/contact cards.
