The SML 01 is a standalone intelligent magnetic stripe lockset. Each unit is programmed via encoded cards which are software produced using an encoder. The unit is dormant until a card is inserted into the lockset which “wakes” the unit up and prepares it to accept a card.

MIFARE Card Door Reader & Controller

The SMF 01 RD & SMF 02 RD is complimentary to the SMF 01, SMF 02 and SMF01 EXT/SMF 02 EXT respectively. It is programmed in exactly the same manner as its counterparts but has the advantage of being hardwired to a separate controller, which holds up to 5000 cards.
The controller is hardwired to the electricity supply and provides power for separate locking devices such as maglocks, electric strikes, automatic doors and barriers.
